India moved the security post from Dashgaja

Parsa: After protests and stand by the residents of Thori in Parsa, the Indian side has shifted the security post to be built in Dashgaja area about 30 meters from the border.

On Tuesday, Indian Security Forces SSB, Bihar Police and Indian Forest Department officials came to set up a security post in Dashgaja. The Indian side has agreed to set up a security post on its own land after a joint protest and stand by about 250 locals, Nepal and the Armed Police Force. Bahi Bahadur Pakhrin, ward chairman of Thori-4, said that the stand of the people of Thori and the people's representatives had left the Indian side behind. "Under no circumstances will we allow security posts to be set up in Dashgaja," he said.The Indian side had started constructing a security post with a tower at Dashagaja in Thori Gaonpalika-4 Vijayabasti on Monday asking for forest patrol. The locals had stopped the Indian side from starting the construction work by suddenly dropping ballast and sand.

Chief Armed Police Inspector Singh Vir Malla of the Armed Police Force, Suwarnapur BOP, said that there was a dispute when the Indian side tried to build a security post with a view tower. Earlier, when the locals tried to set up a Forest Department post in Dashagaja in Thori Gaonpalika-4, Syauli Basti, the Indian side has backed down and is building it on its own land. About five years ago, the Indian side forcibly built a view tower in the Dashgaja area of ​​Thori-3 Syauli Basti. The locals have been protesting when the Indian side repeatedly tried to encroach on Nepali land.'Indian side finally ready to back down'
